Dr Rutvij

I trained in UK and completed my post-graduate studies in the beautiful South Wales region before migrating to Australia. After obtaining my membership (MRCGP) I was lucky to be engaged in a varied role between conventional General Practice work and also unscheduled care a.k.a. Out of Hours service in the UK. The variety was challenging as it was rewarding. My role gave ample opportunity to practice chronic disease management and saw a variety of presentations spanning from general medicine, Mental Health and Paediatrics.

I intend to develop my interest in procedural work over the coming months and years in Australia as I adapt to the needs of the local population. My interests outside work include current affairs and world politics as well as IT and computing. I also enjoy table tennis and Chess. Perhaps coming to Ingham ‘it goes without saying’ that an additional mandatory hobby to undertake would be fishing.

I am delighted with the welcome of Ingham community and will endeavor to deliver my best, always.

Kyle graduated from Australian National University in 2016 and completed residency within ACT Health. He moved to Townsville in 2019 and is training to be a rural generalist with significant interest in critical care, austere/remote environment medicine and tactical medicine/prolonged field care.
