The Practice is a modern, purpose built medical centre building, with well laid out consulting rooms and well equipped procedure rooms.
We are in the final stages of planning to increase the size of the practice building in the near future to accommodate more independent medical professionals. Sullivan Nicolaides is on-site as well as well as Rural Medical Imaging providing CT, USS & Xray.

Practice Details
Ingham Family Medical Practice is on the Highway at the Northern end of town. It is a purpose-built building, designed to cater for eight doctors.
The practice principal Dr Breet Scott is a college examiner and holds Diplomas in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Ophthalmology and has much Paediatric and Emergency medicine experience.
Our Cardwell location is on the highway on the Southern end of town. It is also a purpose built medical facility designed to cater for three doctors as well as additional independent allied health services.
Both locations have equipment available for medical professionals to conduct audiometry, spirometry, skin checks and E.C.G.’s. Medical professionals consulting from Ingham Family Medical Practice are able to do a variety of health checks and medicals. Sullivan and Nicolaides Pathology are on-site, as well as Radiology, CT, Ultra sound and plain film. Also using our facilities are a dietician, podiatrists, an audiologist, a dental prosthetist and a diabetes educator. We have a combination of RN’S, EN’S and AIN’S who also provide continuous support.
The doctors who choose to use our facilities and services are also registered to conduct a Q-fever and yellow fever vaccination centre, as well as providing the usual private and NHS vaccinations.
The doctors currently consulting from the Ingham Family Medical Centre can also provide medical services to the local hospital, allowing inpatient care and good camaraderie with the public hospital doctors. They also can choose to operate from nursing homes in the local area, many of the doctors we support have fostered a good relationship with these local facilities.

We have regular social evenings and family outings with the families of our staff and of the doctors consulting from the Ingham Family Medical Practice.
