“Just a note to say how much I enjoyed my 2 weeks at IFMP as your locum. I was treated with warmth and respect, both by the doctors and staff and felt as if I was a long standing member of your team and I want to thank you for that. The modern rooms, the range of available equipment to treat many conditions and emergencies, is to be admired and was the best I have worked in since my retirement from full time general practice 11 years ago. Without a doubt your patients are very well served by your experienced medical staff and nurses and a credit to you all.”

“As a doctor who worked at the medical practice for a certain period of time, I have been impressed by the professionalism, dedication and commitment of the practice towards patient care. To my experience, IFMP is a very friendly and harmonious team of doctors, nurses, allied health professionals and administrative staffs. The team looked like a family rather than a working unit. The practice principal, Dr Scott, and the team always aim to provide higher quality of patient care, encourage good health and help prevent disease and help patients make decisions about their own health. The main beauty of the practice is the endless enthusiasm in searching for the ways to improve holistic patient care in positive and constructive approaches. I do believe that the medical centre is fulfilling all dimensions of general practice to the community.”

“If I was to sum up Ingham Family Medical Practice in one word it would be SUPERB! I am a John Flynn placement program scholar and I have the pleasure of visiting Ingham Family Medical for two weeks each year of my degree. So far, my first two weeks at the Practice have been an excellent experience. The doctors, nurses and administration staff have not only made my learning experience enjoyable, but they have taught me valuable skills which will be extremely valuable in my medicine career. All the staff have admirable teaching skills however the most outstanding quality that each staff member possesses is their ability to create a friendly, safe and welcoming atmosphere for patients. The practice effectively balances the warmth and kindness of a rural community whilst at the same time maintaining a professional and confidential environment. The practice itself is just one of the many great attributes of Ingham and its surrounding area – its beautiful natural surroundings are spectacular and I believe the Ingham township is a family friendly and warm environment. I very much look forward to my stay in Ingham and at Ingham Family Medical Practice next year!”
Misaki
Thank you for an amazing week and the opportunity to learn amongst such a friendly, competent, experience and close-knit team of health professionals.
It was so refreshing to see a practice where every team member was respected and value – such a big, happy working family!
If there was a way of doing so, I would also thank all of your “regular” patients who were willing to have a stranger sit in their consults and allow me to participate in their private discussions. I have learnt invaluable lessons – not just clinical – that I will take away with me and remember for a very long time, if not forever!
What a great little community you all live in. Best of luck in all your future endeavours in 2021, and I hope you all have a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
Regards, Misaki
