Ophthalmology Services

Ingham Family Medical Practice can provide you with the most update to ophthalmology services. The practice is home to the latest technology of a slit lamp, tonometer and a retinal camera to be able to give their patients the best possible care. The retinal camera is used to facilitate further diagnosis of diabetic eye conditions in all patients. The camera is designed to take a detailed photo of the blood vessels at the back of the eye which allows the doctor early detection of further complications associated with diabetic patients, and other non diabetic illnesses.

The slit lamp is used to detect conditions of the eye as well as locate a foreign body in the eye which helps with the removal of the foreign body with the least amount of discomfort and damage to your eye.

The tonometer is used to accurately measure pressure in the eye and is very important in glaucoma.
